Each month mPerks members are offered multiple rewards to earn. There are 3 different offer boxes, each with 3-4 different reward choices.
You may select only one reward per box – there are up to 3 rewards you could be earning at one time. Once a reward is earned, it will appear as a new coupon for you to clip. After clipping, it will show up under your mPerks “clipped coupons” section. If you return to view your rewards afterward, you will be able to select a new reward for that box!
Things to note about mPerks Rewards
- Rewards are not the same for everyone.
- You will have the entire month to earn your reward. Meijer keeps track of what you have spent toward the reward and shows your progress so you know how much you have left to earn.
- It takes about 24 hours for your purchase to show up in your rewards.
- Reward purchase amounts are based on totals before coupons are scanned. If your purchase is $20.00 but only $12.00 after coupons, $20.00 goes towards your reward.
Take the time to benefit from mPerks Rewards!
Because rewards are not the same for everyone, it is difficult to post matchups or scenarios. You need to manage your rewards individually. I am going to give you an example of why you should take advantage of this program. Some rewards are better than others, but they do change each month.
- Sue has a $6.00 off $40.00 Paper, Laundry, Cleaning reward that expires on 9-30-13. She has earned $23.61 towards that reward this month, $16.39 left to go.
- Sue has also clipped a $3.00/$10.00 Laundry product STORE mPerks digital coupon (this is another example of mPerks coupons that are not offered to everyone, but you should clip them and they usually are good for a couple of months.)
- Meijer has a P&G sale starting Septebmer 29 and a spend $30.00 on P&G products, get $10.00 prepaid card offer.
Here is an example of what she is going to buy and how her personal mPerks coupon and reward will make for a great deal. She does need to make her purchase by September 30 in order to earn her reward. New rewards show up on the 1st or 2nd day of the month.
Buy 3 Tide Laundry Detergent @ $5.99 each = $17.97
Buy 2 Head & Shoulders @ $3.99 each = $7.98
Buy 1 Bounty Basic Paper Towels or Charmin Basic Bath Tissue @ $5.49 = $5.49
Use (3) $2.00/1 Tide Meijer mPerks digital coupon or $2.00/1 coupon (from 9-29 PG) = (-$6.00)
Use (2) $2.00/1 Head & Shoulders coupons (from 9-29 PG) = (-$4.00)
Use (1) $0.20/1 Charmin or Bounty coupon (from 9-29 PG) = (-$0.20)
Use (1) $3.00 off $10.00 Laundry STORE mPerk digital coupon = (-$3.00)
Total: $31.44
Pay $18.24 after coupons, get back $10.00 prepaid card and earn $6.00 mPerk reward
$2.24 after coupons, reward and rebate ($0.37 an item)Note: Enter your mPerks number after all items are scanned so that the total will reach over $30.00. Sue’s $3.00 mPerk coupon puts her under $30.00. (I did this last month and it worked).
If you also have a total purchase reward clipped, your same laundry, paper, cleaning purchases will count towards both rewards.
How will YOU work your rewards this week?
J says
Here are some tips that I have learn.
1. Always check the expiration date (sometimes Meijer doesn’t get to purging the expired rewards on time).
2. If you have a frozen food reward category, it is not valid on frozen meat or seafood.
J says
I mean “learned” not learn.
melissa1 says
Thanks for the extra tips.
donna says
thanks for the info – that explains why I didn’t get credit when I bought frozen seafood
Liz says
Will the Mperk’s coupons work 3 times in 1 order? I have used Mperk’s before but never got more then 1 item in the transaction?
melissa1 says
You can only use them 1 time. If you are referring to the Tide, you would have to use 2 paper coupons and your mperk coupon. I just wrote it as (3) $2.00/1 since there was more than 1 choice for the same value coupon.
Suzi says
It depends on the mPerk… the ones in the example are single use, but I have gotten some store coupons in the past that you could use multiple times in one transaction – shoes, toys, stuff like that. Just check the terms and conditions of the coupon. I’ve never had one that is a manufacturer coupon be anything other than a single use though.
Jamie says
Do you have to use the reward the same month or how does that work?
Suzi says
No, once you spend enough to earn the reward, you click redeem (if I remember correctly) and it goes to your clipped coupons with an expiration date. Seems like it was good for at least a couple of weeks into the following month.
melissa1 says
Yes, Suzi that is correct. And if you earn your reward on the 30th of the month it won’t show up until the 1st or 2nd of the next month. Clip it, and it will be in your mPerks coupons. They do have an expiration date of a couple weeks.
jessica meloche says
I cannot find the mperk
melissa1 says
Tide mPerk is not available until today, I haven’t actually looked for it today but it was advertised as being there in the Meijer ad.
liz says
I am not finding the tide mperks coupon or the 3 of off 10 laundry coupon….Are they gone or u have to do something for them to show up??
melissa1 says
The tide mPerks should show up today, Sunday. It was advertised in the Meijer ad and since we did the matchups early we mentioned them, but they were not available until today. The laundry $3.00/$10.00 was a special coupon only some people received, I mentioned in the post to look for similar personal mPerks coupons in your own account. I have more than 1 mPerks account and 1 of them has 3 different store cleaning coupons to clip, under New coupons and my other account does not have any of them.
Marianne says
She is giving examples, we all have different offers but I always appreciated when you mention a certain MPerk even if I don’t have it otherwise I don’t necessarily look for it.
I have a buy Crisco 48 oz get Pillsbury flour free, and looking at the terms I “hope” it works with bread flour.
embee says
I don’t always have the mperks in the example scenarios, but there has been a time or two when I did have it. I wouldn’t have known about a deal that it went along with without the example scenario, and I really appreciate the “potential match-ups” too!
Leslie K. says
I just started doing mperks last month, and am a bit confused about the “three different offer boxes, with 3-4 different reward choices.” On the mperks site it says choose 1 from each box, but how do I scroll through the choices for each box? (I think I just used selected the first one shown for each of the three boxes, not knowing how to see the other options.) And will there be new choices starting Tuesday Oct 1? Thanks for any clarification.
Jolyn says
There will be new choices next month – you’ll have to select them then. You can browse through the choices for each box by clicking the arrow tabs on the left or right side of each box.
kim d. says
I’m confused about the 1 from each box also.
when I go to the personalized rewards I get three choices. I don’t see arrow tabs on the sides of the boxes.
Jolyn says
Are you on a computer or the mobile app?
kim d. says
computer.
Jolyn says
That’s strange. I use Firefox. You may want to try another browser and see if it makes a difference. Or consider emailing mPerks to ask them about it.
gail says
On mine there are 3 dots at the bottom of each reward. Click on the dots and it will show different offers. I have firefox.
Jessica says
I’ve taken advantages of a few of them. I recently earned an $11 of my cart Reward when I had purchased $60 in deli, cheese and dairy. I used a lot of cheese coupons to pair up with the Kraft sale so now im stocked on cheese! I used the $11 to purchase a small Lego set for Christmas.
Erika says
Does the head and shoulders count towards the paper, laundry, cleaning reward you are referring to?
melissa1 says
Head and Shoulders does not count. She only needed to earn $16..39 or so and the 3 Tide get her to her reward. She needs the Head and Shoulders to get the $10.00 prepaid card for spending $30.00 on P&G products.
Melanie says
Wow, I use mPerks all the time & knew nothing of the Rewards tab. Thank you for bringing this to my attention.
Marilyn D says
I never get them!!! Last one I got was back in May!!!! Sent Meijers a message.

Question: I just earned $8 on one of my rewards. It says “clip it”. If I clip it now, it will be added to my clipped coupons and will come off the next time I enter my Mperks number right? I really wanted to save it for a little while. Can I leave it and not clip it right now, or will it disappear when the new offers arrive this week? Anyone have any advice? Thanks!
embee says
Sarah,
The expiration date on the coupon will not change based on when you clip it. It will disappear once the expiration date has passed. Also, you don’t have to worry about it coming off automatically. The register will ask you “do you want to use your $8 off your total purchase mperk rewards coupon” and I believe it also displays the expiration date. You can select “no” and it won’t come off, it will remain in your account until it either expires or you use it, whichever comes first. If I were you, I would go ahead and clip it and pay extra close attention to the expiration date. You won’t prolong the availability of the coupon by not clipping it, it will just disappear if you don’t clip it (and use it) by the time the expiration date comes and goes. I hope this helps, and as always, anybody else with different information is welcome to correct me.
Jolyn says
Great advice – thanks, Embee!
Sarah says
Thanks!! That is EXACTLY what I was wondering!! 🙂
Beth Ann says
After it is in your clipped mPerks, and you shop again using your mPerks it will ask you at the kiosk if you want to use your $10 off (in my case) on this order.
Kris says
I earned my first M-perk reward on Saturday. I clipped it and chose another reward, $5 when you buy $20 in beauty & cosmetics (not paying attention to the fact that it expires 9/30). I checked back today to see if any new rewards were listed for October and found that I am less than $2 away from earning the Beauty and Cosmetic reward that I selected on Saturday. Do they keep track of all the rewards during the month even if it is one you didn’t select? I’m headed to Meijer right now to get my Suave Professional with my $1.50 coupon and Ibotta reward before it expires.
donna says
Kris, I also had something similar happen – I had earned a reward – so I clipped another one – a couple of days later it said I had earned that reward and I hadn’t even been to Meijer – I think it was a glitch in the system – but I clipped it and spent it – LOL
kim d. says
The rewards boxes have arrows in them again. Needed to wait for new rewards to be loaded.
Leslie K. says
That’s just what I noticed today, Kim D. 🙂
Rachel says
I earned my $5 rewards for spending $30 in produce. This month I seem to have the selection of 8 rewards, one of them is $10 off when you spend $250, which I am sure I won’t be able to earn. However, $5 of $20 spend on fresh meat and seafood/ $5 off $30 in apparel may be do-able.
melissa1 says
Remember the $250 is before coupons, and so far instant savings offers. I only spent $80.00 out of pocket last month and earned a $7 off $175.00 and a $5.00 off $50.00 total purchase reward. I have 5 kids and 2 accounts.
Melanie says
I have a earn $20 for $625 in total purchases! Yeah, I’m a single mom of 3 on a part time income…ain’t no way I’m spending $625 at meijer for the month. LOL!
ashley says
be lucky, mine is when I spend $2000! umm no Meijer.
Jolyn says
THAT is not even reasonable.
Sheryl says
Bought a Keurig Elite on sale for $99; less $10 off $75 Mperks, less $5 Keurig coupon from last weekend; it then gives you a $25 coupon on your next order so $59 plus tax. I think it may also earn one of my rewards for $5 off a $30 purchase.
Athina says
Just curious, I have one of those large rewards of $525. Can you buy gift cards towards that balance? Just thinking ahead for Christmas.
Jolyn says
Traditional gift cards won’t apply, but I bought a prepaid phone card refill last week and it counted. With that logic, the other cards from the electronics dept (like Amazon, game cards and iTunes) may work as well.
